Open Studio Memorial Day Weekend
OPEN STUDIO AT FLETCHER FARM SCHOOL FOR THE ARTS & CRAFTS
May 27& 28 9am-5pm
The 24th Vermont Open Studio Weekend, presented by the Vermont Crafts Council, is a state wide event where artists throughout Vermont open up their studios to the public to exhibit and demonstrate their art. Fletcher Farm School for the Arts & Crafts opens up the doors of the barn and invites local artists to come and exhibit and demonstrate and sell their Art. Over 15 artisans will be located in one building and demonstrating Fairy Gardens Silversmithing, Painting, Rug Hooking, Felting, , Spinning, Necktie Chair Seat Weaving, Fiber Art, Creative Metal Work, Primitive Stencil Painting and Rosemaling. There will be maps available at Fletcher Farm School that show all the sites that will be open to the public, so drop by and share our love of the arts. We are located at 611 Route 103 south Ludlow, VT
Fletcher Farm School is the oldest residential Art & Craft School in Vermont and was first opened 70 years ago by request of the Fletcher Farm Foundation. Summer session opens June 25-Sept 1, and we are offering over 80 classes in Fine Arts & Photography, Basketry, Clay Decorative Arts, Early American Arts, Fiber Arts, Jewelry, Metal Work Quilting, Glass, Wood, Specialties, and our Young Artist Program.
